An all-star cast of jazz musicians are slated to perform during the Crocker Art Museum’s popular Third Thursday Jazz Summer Concert Series. From May through September, concerts are held in the Museum Courtyard on the third Thursday of the month. Each concert features a different type of jazz, from R&B and smooth to Latin rhythms and funk. Light refreshments and beverages are available for purchase. Take a guided “Spotlight Tour” of a special exhibit during intermission.

The Garrett Perkins Project
THURSDAY, JULY 16: With a versatile range from bebop to modern contemporary jazz, the Garrett Perkins Project is dedicated to promoting music that is at once educational and entertaining. Enjoy a spotlight tour during intermission.
Peter Morgan
THURSDAY, AUGUST 20: Contemporary jazz guitarist Peter Morgan and his ensemble will perform a light and breezy instrumental jazz with a coastal island flavor. Morgan is regarded as a stand-out vocalist and guitarist who brings an eclectic musical energy to all of his performances.
