Thurs Til 9: Open Art: Holiday Film Series: Miracle on 34th Street
December 22, 2011
Add Review/Comment
The originally scheduled screening was of It's a Wonderful Life, but that has been replaced with another holiday classic: Miracle on 34th Street.
A seasonal favorite, the original classic Miracle on 34th Street follows the misadventures of Kris Kringle as he gets a job playing Santa Claus at Macy's department store in New York City. Natalie Wood is the little girl who tells him she doesn't believe in Santa, and Maureen O'Hara and John Payne are the couple who help Kris through a trial in which he must prove he's the jolly fellow from the North Pole.
Bring non-perishable food items for the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services and be entered in a special raffle. Presented in collaboration with Movies on a Big Screen. Open Art is part of the program series Thursdays ‘til 9.
Return later in the evening for a screening of the cult classic Satan vs. Santa.
