Aliens with Extraordinary Skills, by Saviana Stanescu, follows the immigration of Nadia, a beautiful and naive clown. Coming from the “unhappiest country in the world” to the bright lights of New York City, we follow Nadia as she attempts to adjust to her new surroundings while fleeing from suspecting immigration agents and imminent deportation. Based on true tales of immigration, Aliens with Extraordinary Skills explores the idea that, regardless of our passports and native languages, we are all “aliens” in search for love, understanding, and a place called home.
