Director Billy Wilder’s Academy-Award-winning classic connects Baroque drama with a modern medium. The plot follows a hack screenwriter who writes a screenplay for a former silent-film star who has faded into Hollywood obscurity.

Film scholar Kristen Anderson Wagner will introduce the film and give the audience a sneak peek of Film Frame features to come in 2012.
