Capital Jazz Project
Capital Jazz Project is a non-profit educational jazz ensemble. It was formed in April 1997 by seven local musicians, CJP now consists of five musicians and educators. CJP's mission is to create an atmosphere of respect for jazz as a high level art form, and to present a repertoire that is diverse and representative of the complete history of the jazz genre.
