Capital Jazz Project

Capital Jazz Project is a non-profit educational jazz ensemble. It was formed in April 1997 by seven local musicians, CJP now consists of five musicians and educators. CJP's mission is to create an atmosphere of respect for jazz as a high level art form, and to present a repertoire that is diverse and representative of the complete history of the jazz genre.

Please join us as CJP presents an evening of symphonic jazz with a latin tinge. This concert will be presented in collaboration with the American River College Chamber Orchestra and the Brubeck Institute Jazz Quintet.

      Bobby put on a great show tonight. His humor was right in tune with his playing. He did a great solo at the end of the performance. I think he may have run out of gas at the end, but it's understandable given all of the soul that he poured into his performance. It was an evening well spent. Thank you Capital jazz project.
