This is a really fun event - an adults-only food and beverage tasting in a relaxed low-key environment! This year there will be a silent and live auction as well as performances by The Retronauts and Putah Creek Crawdads. Restaurants, wineries, and breweries attending include: Mulvaney's B&L, L Wine Lounge, Tower Cafe, 4th Street Grille, Thai Basil, Ludy's BBQ, Aoli Bodega Espanola, DeVere's Irish Pub, Pyramid Alehouse, Boeger Winery, Bogle Vineyards, Pedroncelli Winery, Madrona Vineyards, and many more! Very well run with a strong field. Chipping/putting and long drive contests give the tournament a fun, relaxed feeling. The player buffet is also a nice touch.

I'd love to see this concert. Jesse Winchester and Karla Bonoff are two of my favorite singer/songwriters. And I live very close to the venue. But unfortunately the concert is the same weekend as the Monterey Jazz Festival, to which I've been going since 1978. I simply won't miss the MJF so unless the promoters choose a different weekend I'll never be able to attend what appears to me a wonderful festival. Collapse

Map says Indian Museum, but the text states that the event is on the State Capital Grounds. Also, the event date has changed from the 24th to Thursday, Sept 23 due to the impact of furlough Fridays.

I attended the Underground Tour on the 31st. Unlike the previous reviewer, I had a wonderful time. The above ground section was interesting and important for context. Our guide was a wonderful balance of entertainment and information. I wonder how exactly one can be unprofessional as a tour guide? I felt these tours were a welcome addition to the Old Sacramento experience. This tour is in its infancy. As sites become available I'm sure they will expand the tour. Still, this was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Collapse
