I had the privelege of going to the afternoon figure drawing session last Tuesday and receiving some very valuable feedback on my drawing. Patris has a good eye and she really helped me see for myself how to improve my drawing. I came back for the evening session - whew that's 6 hours of drawing, but wow, what a great way to practice and learn! Collapse

This is a great experience for families with little kids especially. It lasts 40 minutes and you have good views of the river and the city downtown. Inside tip: Sit on the right side of the train (forward looking) for better views of the river. Collapse

I was just walkin around downtown and saw this cool lookin place. I was really surprised to see that they had such a great Happy Hour. Apps were only $5 and wine was only $3 by the glass....I'll be in there again soon!! Collapse

there's a reading every monday at the spc hq = located between Q and R streets on 25th. 1719 25th street. the best poets, often with an open mic performance following. fun begins at 7:30pm, every monday night. sometimes refreshments. always a stimulating monday night of poetry. Collapse
