We’re in the last stretch of summer, and you can enjoy the best summer vibes at Midtown Second Saturday!
Midtown Second Saturday is a vibrant celebration of the art community. This all-day celebration includes local artists, art walks, live music, nightlife, culinary arts, and gallery exhibitions, making it an arts destination like no other. From May to October, you can check out a wide variety of activities that will make you appreciate our community even more.

August Highlights:
Midtown Farmers’ Market
Lavender Heights | 8am-1pm
The Midtown Farmer’s Market is always a crowd favorite, especially when it comes to getting your fresh produce. Second Saturday mixes it up by adding unique and fun art experiences for the whole family.
For August, shoppers can get pointers to level up their art by participating in a free, drop-in drawing class hosted and guided by Drawcademy. The SMUD Museum of Science & Curiosity (MOSAC) will be on-site offering free, hands-on STEM art activities for children and live music by singer/songwriter Seth Kaminsky at Market Square.
August Midtown Second Saturday Art Walk – Urban Dreams
Throughout Midtown | 2pm-8pm
Looking for a new way to explore Midtown? Join a Second Saturday Art Walk! Art walk itineraries are curated so you can enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience at local restaurants, bars, galleries, studios, and more. Each month has a different theme, giving you the opportunity to experience something new.
This month will highlight the Urban Dreams Art Experience. This curated Art Walk will highlight futuristic and surreal art along 16th Street between Fremont Park and Blue Diamond Growers. Stops include Mulvaney’s B&L, Fremont Park, and the Mansion Apartments.
Paint the Town Bar Crawl
Lock & Key Tapas Bar | 4pm-11pm
From Van Gogh to Monet, you’ll see it all at the Paint the Town Bar Crawl. Dress as your favorite type of artist, painter, musician, sculptor, or designer and join XOSO Sports & Social for a creative crawl through Midtown.
