This all-day celebration includes local artists, art walks, live music, nightlife, culinary arts, and gallery exhibitions, making it an arts destination like no other. From May to October, you can check out a wide variety of activities that will make you appreciate our community even more.

Midtown Farmers’ Market
Lavender Heights | 8am-1pm
The Midtown Farmer’s Market is always a crowd favorite, especially when it comes to getting your fresh produce. Second Saturday mixes it up by adding unique and fun art experiences for the whole family.
For September, market guests are invited to explore the ancient art of block printing and try it firsthand by creating their own design on a canvas patch to take home. The fun and free activation is presented by Golden Gate Clothing, a woman-owned small business dedicated to offering unique, handmade, and ethically sourced artisan goods.
Urban Dreams Art Experience
Throughout Midtown | All Day
This is your last weekend to witness Midtown as an open-air gallery of wonder. The Urban Dreams Art Experience brings more than a dozen large-scale, immersive installations to unexpected corners of Midtown, from rooftops to patios and iconic public spaces.

Looking for a new way to explore Midtown? Join a Second Saturday Art Walk! Art walk itineraries are curated so you can enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience at local restaurants, bars, galleries, studios, and more. Each month has a different theme, giving you the opportunity to experience something new.
This month experience a curated Art Walk that will celebrate Sacramento’s cultural diversity, highlighting international art, music, and food in Central Midtown.
