June is here, and the sunny weather is perfect for exploring Midtown Second Saturday.
Midtown Second Saturday is a vibrant celebration of the art community. This all-day celebration includes local artists, art walks, live music, nightlife, culinary arts, and gallery exhibitions, making it an arts destination like no other. From May to October, you can check out a wide variety of activities that will make you appreciate our community even more.

Midtown Farmers’ Market
Lavender Heights | 8am-1pm
The Midtown Farmer’s Market is always a crowd favorite, especially when it comes to getting your fresh produce. Second Saturday mixes it up by adding unique and fun art experiences for the whole family.
If you are headed to Sacramento Pride, the Farmers’ Market is a great place to stop, shop, and grab a bite to eat before the festival. Be sure hit up Market Square located at 20th and K Street for a special giveaway of Pride enamel pins.
June Midtown Second Saturday Art Walk – Pride in Art
Throughout Midtown | 2pm-8pm
Looking for a new way to explore Midtown? Join a Second Saturday Art Walk! Art walk itineraries are curated so you can enjoy a one-of-a-kind experiences at local restaurants, bars, galleries, studios, and more. Each month has a different theme, so each Art Walk gives you the opportunity to experience something new.
For Pride Month, experience a curated art walk that highlights LGBTQIA+ art and artists in central Midtown. Some stops on this walk include the Sacramento LGBT Center, Lavender Library, and Streets Pub and Grub.
Contour Art Exhibit
The Mansion Apartments | 8am-10pm
Contour is an interactive pop-up exhibit that deconstructs and reassembles form, identity, and sound. The exhibit is a foam structure that has video screens to track and capture participants expressions. It also records participants’ voices and restructures them into evolving audio compositions that fill the space. The installation offers a landscape of continuous transformation, blurring the lines between observer and observed.
