One tradition I know many people have is to watch their favorite Christmas movie and Elf is always at top pick. With humor, joy, and Christmas spirit, it is a movie that is sure to get you feeling merry and bright. This year, you can take it a step further by getting that dose of Christmas magic at ELF THE MUSICAL.
As mentioned above, ELF THE MUSICAL is based on the beloved 2003 film. Buddy is an orphan who crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and winds up being raised at the North Pole. After discovering he is human, Buddy goes on a journey to New York City to find his dad. Along the way, he brings joy, laughter, a little bit of chaos, and of course, Christmas cheer.
If you are looking for a show to give you warm fuzzies, this is the show for you. From the moment I walked in I was blown away by how beautiful the set was. The piece that really makes the show shine is the amazing Christmas tree made of ornaments. They float in the air to mimic the shape of a tree and are topped by a dazzling star. From the minute I saw the tree, I was overwhelmed with excitement. While the sets were amazing, what really made me feel like I was taking a trip to the North Pole was the costumes. With bright colors and fun flair, the elf outfits were absolute perfection.
The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. And you will be singing and singing and singing! With catchy songs, colorful sets, and a message of love and belonging, ELF THE MUSICAL is a festive treat for audiences of all ages.
