Handel's "Messiah"

Join the Cathedral Choir and the Capella Antiqua Baroque Orchestra for a distinguished Epiphany celebration featuring G.F. Handel’s timeless Messiah alongside Ariel Ramírez’s vibrant Latin American Christmas work, Navidad Nuestra. Together, these masterpieces honor both European and Latin American sacred traditions, offering a richly varied and uplifting musical experience with period instruments.

Experience Messiah in two languages: the January 2 performance will be sung in English, and the January 3 performance in Spanish — a rare and beautiful rendition. Saturday’s concert will be followed by a festive horchata and cookie reception.

All performances take place amid the stunning architecture and resonant acoustics of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.
