Sacramento Open Studios at the MACC

In its 20th year, Sacramento Open Studios is still going strong. The MACC is celebrating it’s 6th consecutive year doing the weekend 2 tour by kicking off our ‘Preview Party’ on Friday the 19th with a live concert featuring the FBI Band in a 2-hour concert outside. The gallery will be open with all 17 artists present to talk about their work and preview the event from 6-9 pm. There will be tables and chairs outside for concert viewing, bar inside the gallery to purchase beer and wine, and a food truck for your culinary needs. World Fare offers cuisine from around the world with choices to please everyone’s pallet.

The artists are all members of Rancho Cordova Arts and offer a variety of mediums and styles. Photographers, painters, ceramicists, jewelers, and mixed media artists fill the two-story gallery and cultural center. There is plenty of free parking, and fun to be had on the 19th.

In addition to hosting 17 artists of our own we are a venue to see other artists in the area, where we will have samples of their works upstairs. Don’t miss this location on your tour.

The MACC will be open 10-5 both Saturday and Sunday for the studio tour visitors as well. The MACC is just off the freeway and also has backdoor access to Regional Transits light rail and bus stops. The MACC is located in the historic building at Mather Field and Folsom Blvd, 10191 Mills Station Rd., Sacramento, Ca. 95827

We hope to see you for Sac Open Studios.
