The Hometown Country Radio Show features the finest musicians in the region in a popular and entertaining exploration of modern country music. The show moves quickly with early stars from Memphis and Nashville – Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton – on a tour that keeps toes tapping all the way to the songs of modern country music hit makers.
Along the way, the Hometown Country Radio Show ventures west to the Southern California country-rock of the early 1970’s with music from artists such as the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt and Poco.
A trip north to Bakersfield showcases the influence Buck Owens, Dwight Yoakum and Merle Haggard have had on the hit music we enjoy today. And let’s hear it for the ladies with the top hits from the top females in country music.
Bring a low-back chair or blanket and settle in for a unique night under the stars.
Admission is free!
